The GoA is more of a social group...than historical culture. Membership into the guild is voted by its existing members, and initiation into the guild is both highly competitive and rather secretive. Membership is almost exclusively comprised of merchants, landowners, and other prominent members of the community.

The guild meets monthly and few outsiders know what is discussed, or what ceremonial functions are performed. It is a secret organization when examining at it from the outside, however the members insist that the matters discussed in meetings are strictly business. Chapters of the GoA exist all over, and the one at Camp Carathir is small due to the remote location and constant bustle of camp life.

Nevertheless, members of the GoA have a tendency to own a majority of what little wealth trickles into camp. They often attain leadership roles among camp...possibly due to their powerful connections and influence. Despire their power, they are loyal to the King and his officers, and charitable to the less fortunate.
